The Bar

You see before you the typical tavern set up. The Bar keeps growing in rooms both upstairs and down as the members of the guild grow. To one side you see the stairs and a door leading to the main quarters of the guild’s inhabitants. To the other, you see rows of tables as well as the bar off to the back., kegs lining it’s walls to quench the thirst of many a men, both of beer and milk. Don’t know why they put milk in some, but hey, whatever floats their boats. You’ll see at last a cage off in the distance, floor stained in blood. Yes you can assume the drunken bastards take their fighting there. This keeps the bar and residence area not only sanitary, but clean and the fight is contained. This also proves very well for entertainment purposes. Nothing excites more then drunkards dueling it out into a bloodbath for the already much drunken crowd, unless they happen to be drinking milk.

Walking into the tavern, a 5' 8" individual, armed to the teeth, scans for a bartender. Seeing none, he sighs, sits on the nearest barstool while putting his M16A3/M203 over/under combo within easy reach, hoping someone will appear soon to serve him. He glances about him, noting the cage and the bloodstains. He wonders why such a tavern is so empty at this time and wills in his mind for a barkeep to arrive to serve him food and drink.

He walked down the stairs from the upper florr seeing another there at the bar. he chuckled to himself as he walked over to the stranger. "At times like these.. we tend to help ourselves. New to the group? must be.. the regulars already enjoy this rule.. when not on assignment of course..." He moved standing behind the bar and looked to the man surveying him a moment. " what'll it be? i know where everything is back here."

"Beer. As large as you got. What have you got for food? It's been a long trip and I'm starving. Probably also stay awhile if ya' all rent rooms."

He nodded and fished out a large pitcher filling it with beer for the stranger. he handed over looking to him with a slight snicker. "renting a room. you're funny. the rooms here are assigned to those of this esteemed guild. There's a tavern Inn down the road a bit of a ways i'm sure will have everything you may need. unless you're looking to join up?"

"Join? Join what, pray tell. Is it a form of employment? And if so for what craft? As is, I'm a semi-retired mercenary, as if the tools of my trade that I carry around couldn't tell you that already."

Hisashi drinks deeply from the mug he poured and is quite pleased with the brew's deep, rich flavor.

"Now that's an excellent beer!"

"of course it's good brew. we only have one rival, the Theives Guild." He studied the man a moment as he drank and shrugged his shoulders. "You could say that about joining. It often does become like a job around here, the better you are the more you get paid. Your merc stats make a good resume, but your age, no offence, may also give you marks against it." He moved from behind the bar and headed back towards the main door. "You'll have to get approval from our Leaders, but they're a bit hard to find. They have their own missions they do on occasion as well you know." He gave a nod, face still hidden beneath his hodd before leaving the room.

Hisashi watches the hooded man depart while enjoying the brew. He shrugs his shoulders in puzzlement as to why his age could be detrimental as the man said neither was he too young, nor too old. He also wonders about the mysterious leaders and where would there be some female companionship to keep him entertained.
